Tropical Paradise: Transform Your Nursery into a Boho Pineapple Haven

During one my (frequent) trips to Hobby Lobby, I ran across a piece of a wall decor that had a picture of a pineapple and this quote....

"Be a Pineapple,

Stand Tall

Wear a Crown

Be Sweet on the Inside"

It really reasonated with me as weird as that might sound. I instantly felt that if I was ever lucky to have a little girl, her nursery theme would be a pineapple tropical paradise!

The Pineapple Nursery Magic

Finding out I was having a girl was a surprise. I had been convinced I was expecting a boy, as my pregnancy was so similar to my experience with my son. But, to my shock and delight, I was wrong! This little twist allowed me to finally bring my pineapple-themed nursery vision to life. The one I had been fantastizing about for YEARS!!

Why Pineapples!?!

The pineapple quote resonated deeply with me because of what each sentence held a special meaning for what I had wanted for my daughter. I wanted my daughter to stand tall -embody pride, strength, and self-worth. I wanted her to know her importance in this world and the impact she can have like a princess. All the while, staying true to her sweet loving soul.

My Favorite Tropical Details

Adding personal touches made the nursery truly special. Here are some of my favorite details:

Beaded Curtain

Instead of traditional closet doors, I opted for a beaded curtain. It adds a fun and playful element to the room while keeping the space open and airy.

Airy Curtains with Tassels The curtains feature delightful tassels that enhance the nursery's tropical vibe, adding a touch of whimsy and charm.

Wicker Mirror

A wicker mirror complements the boho tropical theme beautifully, reflecting light and adding texture to the room.

Hand painted pineapple

As a gift to his new little sister, Brooks painted this pineapple craft for her. It has to be my absolute most cherish piece of her nursery. He loves getting to show people his beautiful gift. I got this pre-made frame piece to glue the pineapple to to give it a more polished look

Creating the Perfect Tropical Nursery

I had to "patiently" wait to create this dream nursery until we moved into our new home after my little girl was already three months old. I spent the first three months of her life fantasizing and collecting items to create the tropical pineapple nursery of my dreams. I carefully curated decor that blended a neutral base with a boho tropical touch, making sure every detail contributed to a fun and beautiful space. The finished nursery not only reflects my vision for my little girl but also made those late-night feedings a bit more enjoyable.

I’m thrilled with how the nursery turned out and would love to hear your thoughts. What do you think of our tropical pineapple theme and the unique details? Feel free to share your ideas or ask any questions
