About me..
My name is Cassie, I was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan (Go SPARTANS!). I attended Grand Valley University, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Nursing. My career actually began in the hospital where I was born, which happens to be the same hospital where both of my mothers worked as nurses! After six years as a bedside nurse, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in nursing. I graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I absolutely LOVE helping people and making them feel heard and appreciated!
I’ve been married for almost five years to my husband, Matt. He’s always busy working on something around the house or yard. He’s a jack of all trades, rocks a beard, and loves fruity drinks with umbrellas! We met at a bar during a trip to Boston to visit my best friend, which is ironically the same bar where she met her future husband!
We welcomed our baby boy, Brooks, in May 2021. He was the best miracle to come out of a challenging time in our lives and the world. His birth was quite an experience, as was the postpartum phase, which I share more about soon. Even with the whirlwind journey, we absolutely LOVE being his parents!
Just under two years later, we welcomed our baby girl, Mia! She’s our little sassy sweetheart! We love our family of four, but having a baby and a toddler definitely keeps things interesting!
Recently, we moved to the small town where my husband grew up in Western Massachusetts. We’ve been searching for a house since we got married, and it took us until now to find our home! We’re in the gradual process of updating our house to fit our style, and I’ll be sharing the details of our renovations!
